At your request a few words to go along with my paintings. Although my work is, in a sense, a comment on what painting could or should be, hopefully in the end it's more, than just a conceptual idea. My inspirations come from very formal 'stuff' in painting like color, structure, composition. I translate these problems into a world of fantasy, playfullness or... yes...obviousness and failure.
It's the freedom of the experiment that count's and the fun of course.
